Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.

Preventative Care

Riverside recommends spaying or neutering your pet at 6 months of age unless you specifically wish to use it for breeding. Pets that have been spayed or neutered are generally much healthier and have even been proven to live longer! Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families.
Medicine

Complicated cases that require additional care may be referred to the Veterinary Specialty Hospital or the North Carolina State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Our veterinarians can help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen and behavior program for the client.
