The Wok
The Wok opened its doors to Fallon, Nevada in 2005. We started out serving our authentic Chinese food to only a handful of tables in our modest dining room. Since then, our dining room grew to include 30+ tables and the area's first and only all-you-can-eat sushi bar. We're proud to be a part of this wonderful community.

From events to fundraisers, we take every opportunity to give back the love they show us. Without them, we wouldn't be the award-winning restaurant we are today. The heart of The Wok has always been our delicious, authentic Chinese food. The restaurant business runs in the family, and so do our recipes.
Services
At The Wok, we believe everyone has something unique to bring to the table. We're always learning and discovering new ways to grow as a team and as individuals. Gaining experience and relationships that go beyond the walls of our restaurant. If you are an energetic team player dedicated to delivering stellar customer service, we want you!

I really like this place but tonight I came from lovelock and had an hour wait so I waited the hour and when I came back they crossed my name off because they called 10 min before the hour and I didn't pick up. I tried to explain that she told me an hour but she didn't really seem to care.

I got the Cantonese dinner. I chose the Chinese chicken salad. That was okay but a you might see in the picture, the lettuce is iceberg and not green with a lot of the white rib of the lettuce leaf. Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad.... maybe because of the dressing 🤷🏽‍♂️. The paper wrapped chicken is horrible, (it's the one that is wrapped in aluminum shaped like a triangle). The crab cheese puff was okay at best. The egg roll was actually half decent. The BBQ fried rice is really horrible because it's super dry and lacks any flavor. The house special chow mein was the best item, it

This place is top notch. Amazing service. Clean stylish dinning area. Local favorite for sure and a nice place to take the family.
Reasonable portions and speedy high class service. One of my favorite places in Fallon.
Tried the shrimp and scallops. Good dish. Low sugar. Good veggies.

It's good. A good selection of creative rolls. All-u-can-eat prices jumped up to $30. Price is wat keeps me from giving more stars.

First time here, stumbled on to it passing through Fallon. Really good. Hit the lunch special and $9.95 gets you a LOT of food. Wife loved the Vegetable Tofu; I the Schejuan Beef. Pork Fried rice, egg roll, and soup (we had hot and sour)...all came with the entree. Worth a stop.

The potstickers we ordered to go seemed undercooked, the pork was still pink, and the dough inside was still pretty "doughy" for lack of a better word.

This was literally the best food in Fallon. If you don't go here you're missing out. Prices were reasonable portion sizes were on point and flavor was out of this world. Hot and sour soup was perfect and authentic, Sushi was delicious. Cantonese style dishes awesome. Highly recommend.

My daughter and i dropped in a few years ago and the food was adequate. service was not adequate, it was horrible. so my honey and i thought we would try it again last tuesday. we got inside and it said "wait to be seated" so we waited for a minute or two and the caught the eye of a wait staff. they said "in a minute!" while we waited a full 5minutes about 5 of the wait staff ignored us and chatted amongst themselves. we tried to get their attention. nothing. we decided to walk out. nobody asked us to stay. we will never return.

Slowest Sushi and Chinese food ever. I mean the food is good, but plan on an hour at least to get your food. Or you could drive the entire hour drive to Reno and you will probably still be able to get your food and eat faster than had you waited for your food at The Wok. Its funny, but I am not even kidding.

Understaffed. Waitresses are rude when we do get a chance to order it always seems like an inconvenience. Last two Saturdays we've tried to eat here, more than a two hour wait. Would rather drive 30 mins west to get sushi in Fernley and pick up sushi rather than wait two hours...

Great sushi, staff and atmosphere.
I went for sushi with some friends. It was a pretty kickback place. The man making our sushi was awesome, fast and friendly.
I will definitely be going back.
Went back and had curry chicken(level 5 heat), wasn’t as spicy as I expected but good flavor. The waitress for the evening was a new lady so everything took a while but it was still relaxing and enjoyable.
The food came out pretty fast even though the establishment was busy, and everything tasty.

A pleasant surprise with modest prices and tasty Chinese fare. The staff is both courteous and attentive and the décor is well done.

Called 73 times in the span of an hour. If it wasn't because my guests really wanted Chinese food I would had stopped calling after the second time. I had called earlier that day to see if I needed to make reservations but I was informed the dinning room was closed due to limited staffing. Only take out was available.

Once I decided to call and order for the take out the phone was constantly busy. After 73 calls I came to the conclusion there was no way they were that busy and the phone must be off the hook so I drove to the restaurant to place the order and wait there as well.

The place is clean and cozy, with some interesting decor befitting a Chinese and sushi restaurant. I ordered the hot tea (.75 cents) and was completely let down. The waiter said it was green tea. It was not, I'm not even sure if it was tea. Looked like black tea, but had absolutely no flavor. Taste like warm water. Disgusting, and honestly, not sure how that gets messed up.

Anyways, the staff was interesting, had one waitress tell me something and another something different. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on, or who was in charge of what. Our ultimate waitress (the one

This used to be the best Chinese food place we ever had. The service is terrible, 4 people standing around not acknowledging you at the counter. We waited over an hour to be seated in an almost empty restaurant. The food is terrible now. Just not worth going back sadly. :(

We managed to get a reservation on Christmas Eve. The place was clean and well-spaced between other tables to follow social distancing protocols. The first waitress who took our drink order had a real bad attitude. She was pretty rude to my husband when he said hi to her, we were shocked. Luckily a different waitress took care of us the rest of the night and she was delightful. We ordered egg drop soup, garlic chicken, pork fried rice and the "Delta" sushi. The food overall was decent. The garlic chicken didn't really have much flavor. Tasted like bland chicken in garlic sauce so

My son and I went to this restaurant two weeks ago and ordered takeout Chinese, it was average and needed a lot more flavor.
We took my wife and granddaughter two nights ago for sushi, the rolls were small, it took a long time for the sushi to be brought to our table, when we received our last three rolls one of them were so dry and chewy my son and I could not eat it all of it. The other two rolls were falling apart and the fish smelled like it had been sitting on the counter all day, I am surprised none of us didn't get sick. When we asked for the check we were told we would have to pay full

OMG, I haven't gotten that much shrimp in my shrimp fried rice since I left the East Coast! The food was good and they observed covid social distancing. The picture of my plate is half eaten! I got full at a Chinese restaurant.

Really great place in Fallon for sushi or Chinese food. I have had both but today I came here with a family member for a quick bite to eat, sushi a la carte.

Lunch AYCE is pretty comparable to most, but I ordered a couple of roll and that was enough to fill me up.

Service was great. Not too busy on a weekday afternoon. It's great that Fallon has this restaurant here and brings a diverse selection of food to our little town. Can't beat that. Don't even have to go into the big city.

Sushi was very good today and we will be back.
