In lieu of going to cosmetology school, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to apprentice for two years with a great mentor and his team of talented stylists. During this apprenticeship I trained on administering full consultations with clients, cutting techniques, coloring formulas, and styling a wide variety of hair types and textures.
