Our Rose Room is an available rental venue for your groups of 25 to 35 people. It is ideal for Holiday Parties, Wedding and Anniversary Dinners, Birthdays, and Business Dinners. There is a private entrance to the Rose Room and a private rest room for your convenience. A functional gas fireplace adds additional charm to the room.

This restaurant looked really nice, the staff was very friendly, and you could tell this was a popular spot because of the ocean views and it was on one of the main streets in Catalina. My friend and I got a table close to the window and the atmosphere was nice even though it was pretty crowded. I ordered the shrimp Avalon style and I honestly didn't really like it. The sauce on it was too thick and made the bread underneath soggy. Also, the shrimp seemed overcooked and had a bland taste to it.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat at night and we were looking at the menu outside the restaurant. Initially, we were very indecisive, but a couple who just walked out (who we think were the owners of the place, lol) told us that the restaurant and staff were very welcoming, great steaks and good scenic view; so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the 12 oz rib eye and the 12 oz new york steak. Both were amazingly delicious. The staff was also welcoming and courteous.

Came here on a recommendation. Had high expectations and was a bit disappointed. The service was great. Very friendly staff and on top of the service. The three stars is for the food. The chowder was not great and lacked clams and was more like potato soup. We split a wedge salad that had no bacon?? I have never had that. We said we would split it and the waiter took it upon himself to put the salad on two plates which I though was nice since we didn't ask him to do that....but then charged us for it which I didn't appreciate. He did offer to get us bacon for the salad but we were almost

My wife and I dined here day after Thanksgiving. Steve greeted us at the door and seated us at a lovely harbor-view table. Server Juan was exceptional and very helpful with dinner selections. He and much of the staff have been with Steve and family for over 15 years. I love that. Great management. Excellent food. Perfect location. I’ll be back again and again!

Very average steakhouse with above average service. We sat at a table on the beach and the restaurant made us pay an extra $5 for this seat. They gave the reason for this ridiculous charge as the additional taxes they have to pay to have these tables. If it's such a hassle, don't put tables on the beach - the restaurant can seat an additional 16 to 24 tables an evening by utilizing the beach than they would normally be able to seat if they didn't have that extra space. These extra tables more than enough pay for the extra tax without charging the customers extra. Would've given 4 stars if it weren

Went to almost every restaurant in Avalon! And this by far was one of my favorites me and my husband wanted a fancier night out since we are newly weds and came across this cute place that's upstairs but has a big ocean view window! I got their pasta special and it was DELICIOUS! Their was more shrimp then pasta for people who complain about having to few shrimp this place will give you A LOT! My husband enjoyed his filet mignon very much and they cooked it perfectly to his desire! Many places will over cook or undercook!

I got the bone in 18 oz ribeye special last night, got a baked potato for my side item. Wife got the shrimp pasta with a delicious tomato sauce.
Everything was perfect. My steak was cooked a perfect med-rare. They minimally seasoned the steak, a sign of a good chef… let the steak do the talking. Had a perfect char taste and my wife loved her pasta as well! She is very picky about her shrimp and said the shrimp was perfect.
Our server was very friendly as well and could hold a good conversation, it just sucks I can’t seem to remember his name unfortunately.

10/10 for take out! We are staying at Hotel Vista Del Mar next store and decided to just relax in our room tonight after a long day of traveling. The pick up was right on time! Food was incredible! I got the coconut shrimp (amazing and the shrimp are large!!) and Caesar salad and my husband got the chicken teriyaki and baked potato - he loved it! Portions were large! They even gave us warm bread and butter to go which was so good as well.
And oh yes can't forget... the key lime pie is one of the BEST key lime pies we have ever had!!! The crust is insane good... not too bitter key lime, A MUST

BEST steaks on the island per several diverse locals & long time Catalina locals we asked.
They were right! Service was A+ uber inviting & friendly and pleasantly humorous. Had a desert and candle for birthday too. Nice to pay reasonable non SF Area or LA prices for a good steak LOL

This place was pretty good. But I love the most was the option to eat on the sand next to the water. They charge you five dollars extra to do that but it was worth it being able to be outside next to the water. The food is probably a little more expensive than it should be for the polity but we were in it for the experience. It was a little slow but I'm certain it was simply that they were short on health like everyone else during this time. Our waiter was a sweetheart and was really busting his butt to take care of everyone the best that he could. He was friendly and knowledgeable about everything

This restaurant has so many good reviews but I was still skeptical before dining in. However, it turned out to be pretty good. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We ordered calamari, oysters, ribeye and new york steaks. Calamari was spicy but it was really tasty especially the sauce. Oysters tasted very fresh but they seemed to be pretty small (6 of them for $18.50). The steaks were juicy and tender. Overall, we had a fun evening here because of the beautiful view along with delicious foods.

Last restaurant we ate dinner at before our boat ride back to Long Beach. Food Poisoning - unfortunately. Service was good & I hate to leave a bad review but also would feel bad if anyone got food poisoning too.
I had fish & chips, coconut shrimp & a margarita. I think it was the margarita bc my family is not sick & that's the only thing I had that was different.
I only had 2-3 sips of it & thank God I didn't drink the whole thing. Woke up at 12:40am & 12 hours later still sick. Can't imagine if I drank the whole glass.

I really wanted to like this place, but I was really disappointed with the entire experience. And we are pretty chill, low key customers. We put our name on the list for a thirty minute wait that took an hour. We went back to check the status and saw that we had been skipped on the list (they use a paper list to track customers) and she didn't even apologize for the mistake.

The restaurant is hidden away through a small staircase and is located on the second floor of the main strip next to the beach. It is relatively small but the environment is lively and has that vacation vibe. Service was awesome and was very friendly. Food was good, not great though. Be ready to put down some cash as this place is very pricey, look to spend at least 35 dollars, but that's typical of steakhouses. If you are able to get a window seat, its recommended. You can have a nice ocean view while enjoying your dinner.

Steve's Steakhouse is a great place to go to eat steak or seafood the calamari steaks are excellent. I ordered the ribeye steak which came with a choice of vegetables or potatoes, my wife enjoyed her salmon but felt the portions could have been larger. Feel free to eat a lot of bread before your meal comes because they keep giving you as much as you can eat. I hear if you get lucky sometimes Steve himself will be in the restaurant talking to the patrons
