Stephen is a lifelong resident of Panama City, Florida and lives on West Bay in Panama City with his wife Emily. The Syfrett family has lived and worked in Bay County since the early 1960's and Stephen returned home to start his professional career in the area. Stephen went to Rutherford High School before attending Auburn University.
At Auburn, he discovered a love of economics and law, met his wife Emily, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After College, Stephen attended Florida State University College of Law where he graduated cum laude, in the top third of his class.
