Hilton Family Dentistry is the continuation of a long-standing dental practice in the Village of Hilton started by Dr. Robert Morriss in 1975. Dr. Scott Overholt arrived in February of 2010 and brought with him new services to offer Dr. Morriss' patients.
The common goals and values shared between the doctors led to a wonderful relationship in which Dr. Morriss was able to mentor Dr. Overholt in the ways of truly centering on patient wellness and their best interest.As the relationship evolved, Dr. Morriss' confidence in Dr. Overholt grew to a level of comfort in which the opportunity to purchase the practice was discussed.

Dr. Scott Overholt acquired his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Geneseo. He then attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Upon completion of his dental degree, Dr. Overholt completed a General Practice Residency at Strong Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Overholt sought out a practice where he could provide for patients who shared his desire to improve their oral health.

Our newest addition to the practice is our digital x-ray and intraoral camera equipment. With the addition of our digital x-rays, we have been able to drop our radiation exposure by 75%! This means we take 3 x-rays with the same amount of radiation as it took to take one film. This equipment gives us instant information and is displayed to allow you to become an active participant in your dental care.
