Interamerican Learning Center
We provide affordable, high-quality early care and education in a diverse and changing community. Our preschool is located in the heart of Miami's Allapattah community. Allapattah has historically been an under resourced, Hispanic community with many families living at or below the poverty level, but it is quickly changing with higher income families moving in.

Our aim is to serve all these families by preparing their children to be the future leaders of this community. We do this by providing them access to high quality child care and education in a preschool environment with hands on learning and high quality standards.

Our high quality program offers a great alternative to the public school system. We accept Step Up for Children scholarships for our elementary school. Our dedicated kindergarten teachers have a bachelor's degree in education and over 20 years of teaching experience.

The voluntary pre-kindergarten program or VPK is a valuable program offered by the Florida Department of Education that provides 3-hours of free preschool education to children who are 4-years old.The VPK program follows the public school calendar. Students typically begin enrolling in VPK in April for the upcoming school year.
Approach to learning
Report
Medical and educational research has now fully accepted that a child's brain grows and learns more from birth to age 3 than just about any time in life. Your child may not talk much at this time, but everything that your child does and experiences is building connections in their brain that will help them learn later in life.

Our owner has valuable experience working with different agencies that provide healthcare, dental, counseling and therapy services. We partner with families, therapists, dentists and counseling agencies to make sure children, families and teachers have what they need to be successful. We are grateful to enjoy good relationships with the parents who choose our school.
