My name is Alicia, and I'm the creator and owner of Alicia Bradish Photography in Washington, DC, and specialize in maternity photography, newborn photography, baby photography, and family photography throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Northern Virginia, Baltimore, Annapolis, Arlington, Alexandria, and the surrounding areas.
For as long as I have remembered, I have been attracted not just to photography itself, but the actual purpose that it serves for people - preserving the legacy of families. As a child, I used to spend hours looking through the old photographs of my great-grandmother with her 11 children, my grandmother, my mom as she was as a child, and many other family members.

Services
Every photo session created in my studio does not happen spontaneously. It is a process that consists of Pre-Session Consultation, Photo Session, Reveal / Ordering Appointment and Delivery. During Pre-Consultation I take my time to find out about your family, your style, your ideas and vision. One of my key question to you as a client would be "Where do you envision your favorite family portrait in your home?"
The session fee includes the time and talent of the artist, your pre-session consultation via email or phone, customizing and styling of your session, access to high end studio props, wraps, bonnets, headbands, backdrops, and my studio closet, your session time, and your reveal and ordering appointment that will take place approximately 1 week after your session.
The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age. Ideally from 5 to 14 days old. After two weeks babies are a little harder to settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up. It is best that you contact me during your pregnancy and give me an estimated due date to schedule your tentative booking.

We did newborn photos with Alicia recently and could not be happier with our decision. We were on a tight schedule as baby Noah came home from the NICU and we prepared for an impending move with the military. Alicia could not have been more understanding and accommodating of our tight schedule.
The day of our photo session we were continually impressed with her ability to keep baby Noah calm and posed just how we wanted him. She clearly has a special talent for photography and working with infants. When we reviewed photos with her soon after we cried, so perfect. They expertly captured the love

Alicia is a very talented and patient photographer. She was so kind to fit us into her very busy schedule last minute as she didn’t want our newborn to miss her ideal window for pictures. She has so many props/outfits and setups and is very artistic in the layouts she creates. We are so in love with the beautiful pictures she took of our baby girl. Highly recommend her to everyone.

Our experience with Alicia was amazing. Her studio is awesome, packed with so many adorable and perfect outfits and props. She is incredibly patient and warm and an expert newborn shusher. Our preview photos are better than expected - a true work of art. Will be coming back later for a sitting session.

We recently had a newborn photo shoot in August with Alicia for our 5 week old baby boy. She was truly a professional in all senses: committed to creating excellent work, communicated clearly, listened to our input and concerns, and was patient and responsive throughout the whole process. Alicia's photography is spectacular and original; we were unsure about what to expect and she exceeded what we though newborn photography could capture in our little son. We want to purchase all the photos from the session!

Alicia was extremely friendly, professional and patient. She made it very comfortable for my baby and took her time. She is perfectionist and knows exactly what she’s doing. My husband and I are absolutely in love with our baby’s newborn pictures. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a photo session with your little one.
